It's expensive but it works very well. My grandfather's 40 year old withered thick leather belt needed to be revived. I applied three layers and waited 24 hours between each layer for it to sink in. On day 4 I set the oven temperature to 180, applied another layer of dressing and put everything in the oven for 5 minutes. This allowed everything to sink deeper into the skin and made her look old and crusty again. After taking it out of the packaging while still warm, I applied another layer that melted into the skin. After everything had cooled, I took a very mild, water-based leather cleaner and cleaned the leather by blotting the dirty suds with a towel. (I had to wait until this step to clean the surface as water that got into the leather before it was impregnated would really damage it). I set it aside and let it dry for 24 hours. I applied another very light coat of conditioner and gently buffed it with a soft horsehair brush. I think the results speak for themselves. I highly recommend this product.
