I bought these felt-tip pens because I read that they can be used to decorate mugs. My goal was to personalize mugs from the Dollar Shop and give them away for Christmas. It's probably not the ideal use for these oil markers, but overall I think the design was as solid as you would expect. I mean I wouldn't recommend putting your marker cups in the dishwasher but for a simple hand wash the design has held up well. You can use computer fonts that you can find on the internet. Print what you want on the mug and print it out. After printing, cut out the drawings (or words). Then use the pencil on the clean side of the paper and blend. After shading the back of the design on the tape, carefully transfer it to the side of the mug where the design will be. Using the same pencil, circle the drawing and as soon as you remove the small paper from the cup, the drawing will transfer! Once you have a design plan, using permanent markers becomes a breeze. Yes, I love these markers. No, design is not eternal. Yes, I would recommend her. :)
