Review on My Weigh SCPS8300 Palmscale Digital by Marc Zitnik

You won't find a better portable scale in this price range

You won't find a better portable scale in this price range. There's no accuracy to hundredths of a gram, typically no more than 0.01-0.02g, which is pretty impressive for a handheld device at a reasonable price. I emphasize that it is in hundredths of a gram and not tenths like many portable ones. You definitely get better accuracy than a larger capacity scale but lower resolution, and 300g isn't such a sneeze - it's around 2/3 pounds, good enough for anything you need accurate measurements for. The display is on, and while it's nothing special, it's 100% functional and aids in readability. The scale includes useful features such as tare (clearing container weight) and unit price calculation, allowing you to calculate selling/buying on the spot. They also come with essential portable scale accessories, including two pans and a calibration weight. You get a shallow tray (with a rim on the bottom for easier centering and stability when weighing) and a larger deep tray that allows you to easily weigh loose spices, herbs, powders, medicines, etc. The calibration weight is 200g, saving you time and money by ordering it if you don't already have it. Also included is a faux leather case for the scale (matches the shape, doesn't match the scales or the weight), nothing special but good that it's included and protects when carried. Overall I don't think you will find better value for money. There are cheaper scales available, but almost all have a resolution of just 0.1g and most come without any accessories, not even a calibration weight. This should be high on your list if you want a scale to be useful for both buying quantities and measuring ingredients/doses accurately.
