I've tried probably a dozen different beard/hair trimmers over the years and to be honest I've mostly been disappointed. I decided to spend a little more on this model because the reviews seemed pretty solid and I've been getting "good" performance from other Norelco trimmers for at least a few years. This is by far the best I've ever used and unlike other trimmers it doesn't seem to stick to my beard. I wish the fasteners weren't so flimsy [on the protrusions of the various heads that fit into the trimmer itself], they seem inevitable to me in the not too distant future. Regardless, it's a really nice pack with three different heads for different uses: hair, body, face. So far so good - hopefully this one will last a few more years and work just as well.
