They work, but they are not intended to replace screws for threaded holes in the case. The internal threaded holes are much smaller than the holes that typically cut through the outside of the case (e.g. for the power supply, case cover, etc.). They will still work, but it takes a lot of skill, patience, and a little ingenuity. Since the threaded holes are much smaller, you'll need to take a pair of sharp scissors and shave off the tip of the "rubber screw" completely. Due to the way they are punched and cut during manufacture, they will still be difficult to thread into the hole. Although you can't see it to provide enough metal for the threads, the internal threaded holes on the other hand have a ridge around them, making alignment even more difficult (since you can't see it unless you can get your fit head into thread case) However, if you manage to poke some of the rubber through, you can grab it and pull the "rubber screw" in place. In general, I wouldn't recommend them to replace screws intended for use with threaded holes in an enclosure.
