Review on πŸ’‘ Homelife LED Bars Motion Sensor Lights: Rechargeable 30 LED Closet Lights (2 Pack) by Cori Nance

Not particularly bright. No permanent setting.

Please note that the description often uses words like bright, LED bright and 30 LED bright. Understand that these terms are just promotional exaggerations. On the other hand, you really have to dig and squint to find a quantitative description of brightness for these homelife bulbs. If you've recently purchased an LED light bulb, this includes bulb lumen, which is a quantitative measure, and color temperature, which is measured in Kelvin and translated into terms like warm and daylight. Kelvin is not mentioned here. When asked about the color temperature, we get an answer about the heat generated by the light inside the case. All of this is confusing. It also appears that some of the questions and answers posted are from the seller asking himself questions, which is a well-known marketing ploy. I base this on using English and may be wrong. Don't ignore quantitative terms in the listing. With a brightness of 30 LEDs, the light emits around 350 lumens. This is between the lumens produced by a 25W and 40W incandescent bulb. It's a matter of semantics, but I can't even call a 40-watt lightbulb bright. Another point is that if you don't move in front of the sensor, the light turns off after about 10-15 seconds. So if you want to use some of these lights as kitchen lights, you will find them annoying to turn on and off. You can easily bypass the sensor and leave them on all the time, but they often have to be removed to charge.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
