My daughter and I have very thin hair. I've had trouble finding hair ties that actually hold because our hair is silky. She went to school and sometimes she lost them, or her hair was half down because she ran and played, and usually her old hair fell out. So far it's pretty cool. i love all colors I really didn't want a velvet one at first, but I'm glad I took the plunge and bought it. Three circles are perfect for our hair, but sometimes I make a half bun, so I make a circle and a half and can't fall out all day! The only thing, for those who like to wear hair ties on their wrists, they are a bit smaller, so they hurt when I put them on my wrist. It doesn't bother me because I've only tried it and didn't wear hair ties around my wrist. But if the kids want it, then everything is fine. Also, my niece saw them when I was visiting and she really liked them and since there were so many of us I let her take the colors she liked! She was so happy! (She also has thin hair like my daughter)
