i bought this so my Yorkie can get up onto the bed by himself without jumping and hurting himself. It took several repeat days & nights of training and encouraging him to use, but now he loves these stairs. He's getting older and I want him to be able to get up there without hurting his joints. Easy to clean and vacuum as well, plus the compartments are great for storing dog toys or other things, it also slides under the bed perfectly when I need to clean the floor : ).
