Good luck with blending or layering - more like a pencil
I wanted to try oil pastels because I was intrigued by the color, the videos showing blending techniques, etc. Turns out it has little to do with blending or layering this. Sometimes another layer will erase the previous one (e.g. scrubbing). When you blend, it's like deleting layers. Some colors can go really well together. In addition, it is difficult to separate the paper cover. Basically it doesn't give me the effect I expected from what I saw in the tutorial videos. upset. Feel like crayons. Good color scheme, I would like dark purple.
