Nuts! I fished 2 weeks before I made this mistake. I excitedly unpacked them, set them up and put them on. Oh my god, they are terribly uncomfortable! The plastic styrofoam padding is so stiff that there is no padding on it at all. They instantly became an irritant, and since they're utterly useless, there's no way to avoid discomfort that quickly turns into pain. The pads are large enough so that no part of the weight can be transferred to the ears and small enough not to hang over the ears. They don't twist back and forth either, they seem determined to put all the weight right on the sensitive part of the ear cartilage, while I want to place some of the load right in front of the ear. No luck at all. 5 minutes is my absolute limit with them. I use a Logitech headset at work, not as comfortable but much better in comparison. Sad! I'll send them to my scrap yard straight away, maybe see if the woman can use them. ***Update*** Someone was actually upset that I suggested my wife try them. Well, she hated them too, so I threw them aside. A few months ago my 9 year old son grabbed them off a pile of wires to play Minecraft. He seems ok with that, so they're his now. If you are 9 years old this could be good for you. Stop Worrying About Techno Spouse Abuse ;)
