Fell apart after 3 months of use

I have been buying Quicksilver Carver sandals for over 6 years and this is the first pair that has started to fall apart on me. Faux leather or synthetic nubuck leather will begin to peel off the surface after 3 months of use. Then the artificial skin began to peel off and came off at great speed. They are also very slippery, almost unsafely slippery, when wet.
