No instructions but someone can figure it out from the renders/photos. I tried both sides individually and both were smooth, then I put them together and when I moved the z/x lever up and down with no z-bar attached. It would be very rude to move up and down to indicate something is wrong. Of course, I removed one side from the PSU and left the other attached, and the arm was bent towards the frame on the other side with no room for linear routing between them. I was able to flex my frame to compensate for this, but I didn't have to. In addition, the linear guides had to be cleaned and re-lubricated. It's much smoother now, but not as smooth as the other linear rail I bought from Amazon. I would skip this kit and go with the BLV kit and some 300mm linear rails (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JYB2D72).
