Instead, I decided to replace the rear pads because the rear brake was making a high-pitched squeak when braking, even after changing front wheels. I replaced the OEM rear brake pads with red EBC material and not only was the noise gone but the initial bite was excellent. I'm not familiar with dust, but so far I'm very happy with these pads.
