This mount allowed me to mount my TV exactly where I wanted it even though my studs were off center. I have included a few photos in this review which I will refer to. My desired setup was under a basement window and the ideal position was centered on that window. However, my cleats were placed right in the middle of this window and either directly to the right and left of the window, eliminating dead center attachment by 2 cleats as required. As shown in my first drawing, I place the bracket in the middle/right of the window. Then I used an adjustable splint, to move the TV mount to the left as far as possible. As you can see in my second picture, it's still a few inches off center with this setting. I was then able to slide the TV a few inches to the left onto the horizontal brackets so that it was centered squarely on the window. No problems so far and I plan to use the space on the left side of the wall to install some cable management/hiding devices. Option with my bolt installation. It feels solid and I have no problem sliding the TV in and out on its adjustable hinge. I have also included some photos of how I had to use spacers for my curved TV as this was probably the most time consuming part of the installation. For me, it's figuring out what combination of pads gives me consistent support. π€ With this setting, it's still a few inches off center.
