I was very impressed with how easily everything fit together and that if you wanted to move a shelf up or down, it was not difficult is they are pressure fitted in and can be re-positioned using a rubber mallet to knock them loose if you wish. The instructions were mostly pictures and pretty clear. It was SOOO nice not to have to struggle to assemble it. Another nice touch is the double lines every few divisions so it was easy to position the fasteners to keep the shelves level. It was easy to get the fasteners themselves off and on.Personally, I did not need to use the wall fasteners as it is inside a closet in such a way that the closet itself will prevent it from tipping over.
