I bought this little humidifier to add some pink to my office. After opening, I followed the instructions and soaked the filter rod in water for about 5 minutes. After it soaked in and I picked up the product, the water spout where the mist came out started clogging right away (straight out of the box). I would also like to point out that the water I use is filtered and purified so there is no reason for accumulation. Upon further research, I saw that the company recommended cleaning the spout by soaking another filter rod in vinegar and rubbing gently. through escaping water with a filter rod. After cleaning the spout, the humidifier worked fine for about 1 day and immediately started clogging again. This product is not worth constant cleaning. When the water hole is clogged, water will start condensing on the entire surface of the humidifier and then fall on your desk or wherever. It's also quite noisy for a small humidifier. I definitely regret buying this product as it is too high maintenance.
