Review on ⚡️ Enhanced Santronics 3115 AC Voltage Sensor by Mark Raj

Everyone knows how annoying NCVTs can be. The cheap ones work but are unreliable and sometimes stop working. I have taken several NFPA courses and the electrical instructor recommended this tester to me as it is the only one that is OSHA approved. I work as a mechanic in a hospital, so we often test and repair electrical equipment and circuits. I've had a few Kleins over the years and a great Fluke tester. Kleins are good, but they seem to have reliability issues over the long term. My Fluke is actually made by Santronics, but their new devices are not. Newer Fluke models also require a separate low voltage tester. Pros: • Always on • Aside from minor bumps that cause it to blink, I haven't had any false positives or negatives. • Really strong polycarbonate construction • Made in the USA • Great value for money. Cons: • Visual only (Santronics 3000 supports audio/video but is not OSHA approved, although it is just as accurate).
