Excellent headphones for hip hop. At best extreme heights. I bought them from Drop for $77 upon delivery. I bought them fully aware of the "dark" sound profile. I'm a bit sensitive to high frequencies and like powerful bass. It fills that niche. If you're looking for precise, detailed headphones, these aren't for you. With a little more power, they also sound a lot better. The LG V60 can just let them run and get louder. I haven't tried any other mobile device, but I doubt they work well enough to justify $77, let alone $165 here. The V60 has a good DAC and you can use the EQ for higher frequencies. Without a desktop amplifier (DAC X6 with high-gain mod), they deliver great sound and tight bass. 3 stars for a good IEM for niche audio at $165 and 4 stars at $77. If you like the sound profile, buy it from Drop and save $90.
