Reolink 5MP HD Wireless IP Security Camera 2.4/5GHz is used for home door access control. The camera was very easy to connect to our WiFi using the camera's ethernet cable, using our ethernet ports in the house connected to our internet modem, or you can connect directly to the modem to connect. We then installed a camera above the front door. The picture quality is excellent. It was installed over a week. I also set up the MAC using the Reolink MAC camera surveillance app. I was able to set motion detection zones in the camera's field of view to turn off traffic and car lights at night. At this point I have two active zones for motion detection. After studying night traffic in these areas, I will add a third area for the front door camera. This camera has everything I was looking for in a security camera. It records movements on the inserted micro SD card and streams the video to my iPhone and MAC using the controls in the Reolink apps. There is no need to contract with a third party to view recordings. What else would you like to ask? WOW. I will definitely order more cameras for other destinations. A disadvantage is that the motion detection algorithm uses frames to detect motion through frame changes. We have cats that fire the camera as well as car headlights. Using the motion detection zone service without the Reolink resident app for MAC, I was able to remove the car traffic and car light triggers.
