Our light is connected in a connected garage. So we open our door and the light is supposed to go off right away. Sometimes it happens when we walk out the door. Sometimes it turns on when we open the door, walk out, and close the door behind us. I open the door. Wave my hand around like I'm flagging down a 757 Jet. And it'll turn on then as well. How far is the motion sensor from the motion? Measuring from my door knob height (3 feet from the ground) to the motion sensor is 8 1/2 feet. The motion sensor is mounted on a wall that is to my left and not on a wall that's directly facing me when i open the door. The motion sensor is turned towards the door.Overall, it works enough of the time to make this a great purchase. Note to the Mfg's - can you make your motion sensor swivel on a 360 ish degree mount rather than have the seemingly restrictive rotating that's there now? Still - very happy with purchase and would do so again!
