Review on Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera with Auto Focus-S Nikkor Zoom Lens (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Arun Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

The appearance of the Nikon D3100 kit vr has caused controversy regarding the classification of this camera. On the one hand, being a continuation of the D3000 series, the camera received certain changes in characteristics and functions, which is quite logical, but on the other hand, in terms of its capabilities, the Nikon D3100 “invaded” the territory of mid-level SLR cameras and even surpassed them in certain parameters. Like any DSLR, the Nikon D3100 has a quick-change lens mount like all Nikons, this is class F with AF contacts. It should be noted right away that, being a budget camera, Nikon equipped it with a standard kit wide-angle lens Nikon D3100 Kit AF-S DX 18-55 mm f / 3.5-5.6G VR, which successfully copes with all the tasks that it can face. put a novice amateur photographer. Having its own optical stabilizer (VR), the lens compensates for the lack of the latter in the camera. Separately, I would like to highlight the opportunity to shoot full-fledged video in HD quality. Resolution of 1920 x 1080 is not bad, but mono sound and a maximum length of 10 minutes reduce the attractiveness. Although the D3100 is a camera, not a camcorder, the video capabilities are quite acceptable. But the camera can edit video on the go, deleting unnecessary frames and, conversely, saving the most successful frames as photos.
