This material hardens very quickly in my experience, as soon as I stopped pushing the plungers to pull it out it hardened and you had to replace the nozzle (buy extra tools, you'll need them). It hardens to a very hard plastic within minutes. You can sand it down at this point. I used it to attach a metal grille to my front bumper to attach without screws or bolts. I put a few strokes all the way around, so I basically put drops of this stuff through the mesh and over the mesh onto the plastic bumper behind it (all on the back of the bumper so you can't see it). I'll tell you that the grid is there, it's not going anywhere. We'll see how that plays out in the harsh New England winters we're experiencing here, but as far as I know it's tough stuff and well worth the money. Last tip: prepare your project in advance, once you start using this material you will run out of time.
