I bought this to fix a couple of 5mm bolt holes on my chainsaw. So I went to the first hole. After I screwed the spool in, the spool installing tool got stuck and wouldn't come out. I was finally able to unscrew the tool (which is unthreaded and meant to just pull itself out). I tried using a hammer drill to break the spiral coil mounting tab. The punch tool is stuck and will not come out. I finally got the punch tool out, but it pulled out part of the spiral coil with it. Second coil inserted and the installation tool got stuck again but I managed to unscrew the tool. and pull it out. Instead of the puncher included in the kit, I used a small punch that snaps off the tongue. When I started to install the screw, it would not thread into the coil. Finally cleaned the screw. The Helix was found to have a 5mm 0.80 thread instead of the 5mm 0.90 thread of the original screw. I found the correct threaded screw and was able to get it to work. Decided not to try to fix the other two screw holes which were cleaned. I just bought a 6mm tap and new screws and recut the holes to a larger size.
