We live in a village and our water comes from a hard water well. Toilet bowls form a ring of limescale over time. In our experience, the only way to get rid of it is to clean the pumice stones. At first we thought we couldn't use raw stone for porcelain! This will permanently scratch the shells. But then you get to the point where you can't stand unsightly rings anymore, nothing else works, so you try. These bricks, with their useful handles, work great! And they appear to remove calcium without damaging the shells themselves. These 4 stones come in a branded box for easy storage. Keep in mind that they tend to shed "sand" which we noticed when we got them. We simply put the box in a plastic bag to keep it out of the bathroom cabinet we keep it in.
