The manufacturer claims it can be assembled in 15 minutes. Not quite, but close. More like a 45, which obviously helps that it comes partially assembled. The 4-drawer part is delivered pre-assembled and only needs to be attached to the table. The table top also comes pre-assembled, simply screw on the legs. My two biggest complaints are: First, the shipping box doesn't match its weight. It is a heavy piece of furniture and therefore easily damaged by shipping companies. We found a 10" piece of wood in the box that needed to be glued back onto the table. That. There was a lot of styrofoam (not recyclable) in it, but it wasn't enough to protect it from damage. Second, the surface of the table has obvious flaws. Big holes, not just cute little imperfections, but about six 1/2 inch holes. The writing area is limited due to the depth of this table. This table seems more suitable for display than for a desktop. Looks great in my daughter's room.
