I personally like the trousers. They're warm, keep out snow and rain while skiing, and have never snapped despite falling down large stretches of icy Pennsylvania ski slopes. These are really warm pants so be careful if you intend to wear them for activities unless you are in your 30's. I dried them inside out in our room after a day in the mountains and they dry and are comfortable in 2 days. However, the fasteners at the bottom of the trousers are not adjustable. They close with a zipper, but you can't get any tighter with a ski or snowboard boot. If you plan on wearing this with bulky winter boots as well, this problem becomes even more pronounced.
