We bought this long leash to help train our dog around our chickens. It helped us let her roam, while still having some control over her area. We were using it with a collar, instead of a harness, so she got it tangled between her legs several times. We learned our lesson and now only use it with a harness and it causes less frustration.I choose this thickness, thinking it would be strong enough to securely hold her in place, and it was. However, when our dog got frustrated on the long leash, she started chewing on it. Within a few minutes, she has chewed through half of the width of the leash. We’re still please with the leash and will continue using it for our training.
