I connected everything as indicated. One of the tubes was not communicating with the base. I moved closer, tried different outlets. Nothing. It was useless. The answering machine database itself kept losing the information I had entered, such as the date and time. It will just go away after a few hours. After trying to fix everything and getting so frustrated I wanted to throw the whole system out the window, instead of paying the return and restocking fee, I just unplugged everything, packed it up, put it in a closet, and my old one System plugged back in. It has its issues, but at least it's usable. A bad buy on my part.
