Suitable for adults XS

I usually wear size XS or S, I am 5.2 inches tall and weigh 106 pounds and bought these shorts in size XL. I think they fit well but I wish they were more on the waist because it cinches the waist a lot. Also, they are comfortable and I really liked the style.
