My only real gripe with this grater is that it's difficult to hold when you just want to grate some cheese directly onto your dish; Since most flat surfaces are graters, you have to awkwardly grab at the corners. And depending on which side you use, you also can't measure what you've grated without ripping it apart, checking the amount, and then trying to put the pieces back together without crushing the cheese. Otherwise a good investment so far and I hope it will last longer than the cheaper plastic flat grater which broke after a year.
