It supported fast charging and couldn't beat a set of these cables for the price. The braided cord on this cable is very strong, but we had issues with the micro USB end of it. As with many micro USB cables, the tip will bend over time and not make proper contact for charging. So if this cable stays in one place and you are always careful when connecting and removing the tip, it will last a long time. If it is used in high traffic areas, children or places where the cord is pulled in different directions, be prepared to order a replacement.
