"Perfume (with natural and essential oils) "

I like transparency when shopping for personal care products. I think I took a chance, even though the label on these deodorant wipes says they use "perfume". The way it is written means that artificial perfume ingredients are used alongside natural compounds and essential oils. Personally, I find Pacifica a bit misleading as a brand in their "natural body care" claim (see label). As soon as I opened the package, I smelled the synthetic coconut scent. If you think real coconuts smell like this, then you've never tasted real coconut milk or coconut water. The smell isn't bad, but it's really synthetic. Think McDonald's strawberry milkshake, then compare its taste to homemade strawberry milkshake. Not so sweet and sweet, right? A bit harsh and natural. I expected that from these. But it smells like artificial tanning lotion. I bought them to take with me on a long haul flight with multiple changes. I thought they would help me feel fresh and I didn't use them as I found the smell was sweet and I didn't want to disturb a stranger I might be sitting next to on an airplane. Perfomance? I tried these. They are as effective as a baby wipe or damp cloth. The only benefit you get from them is that they can be packaged and are flavored (if you like the smell). I wasn't expecting it to be some sort of antiperspirant, just cleansing and refreshing. But the smell doesn't make them that refreshing for me. I will be passing these on to my teenage son to put in his duffel bag so he doesn't smell so bad between showers (he can't use deodorant spray in the locker room). at school). I'm sure his younger friends will love the scent too.
