Review on MAHLE Original VS50042 Engine Gasket by Carl Lee

Knowing I would not be able to return this item if opened, I verified that this is the correct gasket for my 1990 Suzuki Samurai by testing this gasket with other manufacturers have matched . Also, I lined up my valve cover with the gasket in the box and everything turned out to be correct. nope When I got to both ends of the valve cover, the gasket wasn't big enough to fit in the end recesses. At this point I added my shim maker to install and damage one of the tabs. I had to drive into town and buy another gasket from a different manufacturer that fitted perfectly. I even checked the specs at the parts store and they confirmed this gasket will fit my car. Must be a manufacturing defect or something.
