Uncovered level of difficulty

I like to assemble furniture without looking at the instructions. it's my business It was harder than most, not in a bad way, but there's one detail about how the metal pieces stack on top of each other that's pretty important. especially if you are a really special (compulsive) person like me. I won't explain it well and the company didn't even try it in the video (copy of instructions not included). They skip it entirely, which frustrates me. It still works if you just do it haphazardly, but there's a reason so many negative reviews mention you really need to force it. If you do it evenly, you don't have to force anything. The best I can explain is that at the higher joint, viewed from the inside of the leg (see perspective image), the pieces overlap so the shaft coming from the left comes from the bottom. Reversed at the bottom joint. In the lower row of joints, the left stick lies on top of the right stick. If you don't do this on purpose you will have to use force and bent rods will make things less stable. Hope that helps. Also the length of the screw only worked at a middle spot without a washer. because there are thicker overlapping stripes. This really should have been considered in the design.

Pros
  • Good assembly
