Works well. If I had known how cheap and easy it was to replace this piece I would have done it sooner. I waited too long until the original piece was leaving marks on the elbows of my shirts. It was a little hard to get into place. I wasn’t able to get all the screws in although I did get enough in for it to be solid. If I did it again I would have spent a few more moments pre screwing the holes as some suggested. I was also concerned about the style with the stitch line going down the middle of the unit but it matches the stitching on the seat and looks fine.
