I've had this system for over a year now and it really is a trimmer that you get what you pay for. For $20-$30 a real hair clipper is very boring. I spend about the same amount of time cutting my hair as I do setting up the clippers. I have to constantly loosen or tighten the tension screw to get the blades to oscillate. I also oil between cuts. The battery powered touch up trimmer is great. I usually use it for shaving so there is no stubble. Works great every time, but the two AAs die pretty quickly so it's not very power efficient. When I'm out with a touch-up trimmer, I always carry a spare kit with me.
