The inner cardboard tube had a flaw/crease in the middle and this 'crease' prevented the plastic dispenser from fully rotating. They could only pull about three inches of tape and then had to manually manipulate or plasticize the bend to continue. Within the first 30 seconds, I removed the useless plastic dispenser from the tape and used my existing refillable dispenser in its place.
