I drive a 24ft Class C RV and often tow a small car. One of the most awkward maneuvers I make in this configuration is changing lanes in fairly heavy traffic, often at freeway speeds. With only my side mirrors (the back of the RV is closed - no window) I'm never sure I have enough room to change lanes. Thanks to this system, I can see at a glance whether I have enough space or not with a camera mounted on the back of the motorhome's roof. Visibility is way better than just a rearview mirror because you're looking DOWN at the traffic from behind! signal to the monitor. In fact, I received a "No Signal" message more often than an image. I thought the system was useless and thought about bringing it back. But thanks to excellent technical support and customer advice, as well as troubleshooting with a digital voltmeter, I finally found that with the engine (alternator) running, the voltage on this circuit fluctuated between 11.2 and 11.7 volts. Maybe it's because my headlights are LED? Regardless, I ended up powering the camera from a different 12v circuit and the system worked great on a recent 5500 mile trip. I never had a clear picture. I highly recommend this Voyager system and ASA Electronics will support it. I feel a lot safer than ever when towing in traffic.
