The polystyrene side is not abrasive at all so I was pleasantly surprised at how well it removes dirt and grit in the kitchen, bathroom and other tough cleaning jobs. "happy" colors of the kitchen. That doesn't mean I won't keep using them - when it comes to choosing between trendy colors or great cleaning clothes - great wins every time. :)
