It's probably good that you all know what you're getting into. I started troubleshooting my not working Pi 4b then ended up on their official website and came across something very suspicious/arrogant which really annoyed me. They give tips on things to try and for FWIW mine didn't match any of their blink codes (red light on/stays on until I turn off, green light on then off. That's all I got , no matter what. Anyway, she said that once you've tried all of her suggestions and "Your PI still doesn't blink the ACT LED, you can assume you somehow managed to blow your PI up." hunting." can't be a problem with the unit don't know if it was you or something broken. Second, if it won't start and you had to do anything to get it to start, then it was already a fault by either the manufacturer or bad accessories sent by the seller which i highly recommend you don't think it was your fault as it's probably a tactic to make honest people think they did something wrong so they don't reciprocate your schul d, is the most unlikely scenario. I've built my own computers for the last 20 years, every single one of them has worked well and it's not like it's a more complex build than desktop computers. ...there is almost nothing to screw up. I tried a few things, then I saw this amazing/wrong comment, stopped right there, put the whole thing in a zipped compartment and it all comes back. If the Pi doesn't get it to work right away then it's not a good product, and if the statement says "well it's a fairly new product with bugs" then it wasn't ready for sale. At least before you buy, not after, make sure both the manufacturer and the seller make it clear that this is a beta release and that we are the guinea pigs. In fact, I expected it to be just like any other PC, built it and it works. I discarded this attitude very quickly. :)
