Painting, cleaning - great for both!

Plenty stiff with enough flexibility to apply needed pressure. The two ends can be bent until they touch and the plastic won't break. Snaps back with only a slight bow. Thickness is ideal for keyboards and most electronics. Since they are foam, these also work great as mini-foam brushes for dabbing on small models. I keep a bunch in the home office and workshop.

The foam material is resistant to tearing, ensuring that the swab lasts long enough to provide multiple cleaning sessions

Cons

The tips are not chemical-resistant and may dissolve on contact with certain liquids
