These curtain rods do not have the magnetic strength to hold the curtains I purchased up. I bought these to try and add some insulation to my back doors as we have had some really cold weather these last few weeks. I attached the curtains and the magnet started to slide down the door! I ended up having to put the magnet so it rests on the frame around the windows so that it can't slide down. Also the plastic piece that makes the rod expandable does not hold the smaller piece stable at all so threading these onto the curtains was very difficult.Ultimately I made it work. But I don't know for how long.
