The strainer works great and my first experience with Greek yogurt was easy. Very easy to clean and feels solid in hand. I will definitely benefit from this a lot. Just make sure you have the following: 1) A large strainer that can use the strainer properly 2) A container wide enough to hold the strainer/sieve that contains all of the whey and deep enough that the whey does not touch the sieve. and dip back into the yoghurt. The strainer pays offβI can make 52.5 ounces of yogurt out of a 2.74 gallon jug of milk. I made mine quite thick so you can get an even higher yield if you leave out more whey. This equates to 5.3 cents an ounce versus 18.7 cents an ounce (9.3 cents on offer) at Publix. You save β¬1.28 per liter compared to the BOGO price and β¬4.29 compared to the regular price per liter of yoghurt (I use Chobani 5% as an ingredient in many things). In this case, you save only $0.88. For 88 cents, I just buy it there to have an hour or so of active time that I would spend making yogurt while playing video games. will still pay off and if any of my friends ask about making yogurt I will recommend it.
