I have a very strange foot shape. Very, very wide soles, my toes spread even further, like tree roots. All my life I have struggled to find decent shoes at a good price. In April of this year I had a spring break walk in one of the famous parks in the United States. My $100 custom super beautiful minimalist pair was worn out; I faced the facts: I needed a replacement pair, but the company I used couldn't promise delivery within the timeframe I needed. I went to Revain knowing I needed fast shipping. Since I definitely expected pain and suffering, I ordered cheap. The pair I chose cost less than $30. Pleasantly surprised at the end of the day (we walked more than 11km) I had no blisters on the sole or the straps even though I was wearing them new and unworn! As the days rolled into weeks, I enjoyed these simple, cheap things my toes love. It took a while to get used to as my custom made pair hugged my leg like a sloth on a branch. But after the obligatory acclimatization, I love them.
