Perfect kitchen compost bin
I was looking for some kind of metal bin for kitchen compost waste. This galvanized canister works great. The lid has a flange that fits the container with a silicone gasket. I removed the gasket because I didn't want or need to seal the lid, but it might be useful. No liquid escaped from the canister. I keep it in a cupboard under the kitchen sink, but the electroplated finish is good enough to put on the counter if I had space and wanted a rustic look. Great for my needs.
