Nissan Maxima 2016 Installation requires many improvements to make it work. When I first installed this I couldn't shift the car anymore, the heat housing was hitting the shifter on top of the engine. I placed extra washers under the heat shield to raise it over the linkage and folded up the outside edge of the shield to ensure the linkage never hits again and I also had to buy some long metric screws to raise the shield. After 2 hours and a few extra parts, the assembly works perfectly. If only K&N had added taller rubber mounts to the kit, this would have been perfect. You'll need tools, parts, and patience to set this up for 2016, but it's worth it.
