Very quiet for home audio

I bought this product to connect my speakers to it and use Wi-Fi. The built-in speakers are very quiet and connecting to external speakers has the same volume even when both the speakers and the built-in speakers are running at full blast. Although the player works. I just have to be in the same room as the player without doing anything else.
