I used these to insert posters I sent to a friend. It worked. All of my prints fit, although I only did one print at a time. Although the white ends snap securely (and easily), I still apply some tape. Even though they say the tubes will ship, I still put the tubes in a USPS priority triangle box for shipping. The consistency of the tube reminded me of a longer version of the roll of toilet paper. I wasn't sure the thickness of the pipe would stand up to being moved and thrown around during the shipping process. I was also afraid that if it got wet it might seep through and damage the print. I would recommend it for storage and crafting rather than email. Putting the printout in a tube and using a mailer is really double the work and will cost you more when it comes time to mail. Note: I was a little disappointed with the delivery of this product to me. The six were grouped, wrapped in brown kraft paper and packed very loosely. There were a few dents on one tube - nothing major and didn't really affect performance, but it's not really a risk I'd want to take with a purchase.
