I collect silk pillowcases and own many brands, from basic to luxurious. I also have many different types of momi. 22 Mami is usually the standard, and with good reason. They can get a nice tight weave from 22 and they tend to be smooth and silky. I have found that as the mother grows taller, the pillowcases get even firmer, but not as soft as the bottom ones. 27 Mama's on the high side. 30 is the heaviest mother I have. For a size 27 this pillowcase still manages to get a tight weave and is shiny and just as soft as a size 22. If that doesn't convince you to go for this pillowcase, look at the price! $50 is a steal for a 27 year old mom. If you're familiar with Blissy or Slip (both great brands), Taft offers exactly the same feel and quality! I received the royal blue and the color is perfect in person. Taft claims their content is Orthotext certified, as are major advertising brands. If you feel like $50 is too much for a pillowcase, check out their 22 Mamas that are under $30.
