Works as intended. A slight misalignment of the core layers made adjusting the gap a bit difficult, but that's okay.
Approached normally. 21171-7001 replaced with a Kawasaki twin. After checking again, spark was restored and the engine started quickly. The disappearance of the spark was manifested in the form of a severely stalled engine with an increase in load. We also checked compression and valve clearance on both cylinders after checking for no spark to carefully evaluate the 20 year old, 720 hour engine. Works well again, hopefully the role will last.
